This page is for teams to find information about the season, with links to resources about the challenge - missions & project, team work exercises, tournament registrations and your own Team blogs.
There are TWO websites you'll want to pay attention to: US FIRST (https://gofll.usfirst.org/) and Colorado FIRST. All teams must register their 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice of Qualifier event on the US FIRST site (details below).
Re-registration
for teams who have
been mistakenly approved for the wrong tournament
negotiated with the tournament planning committee to make adjustments for their team AND
received a confirming notification for the adjustment
The new US FIRST Corporate FLL registration page - where you purchased your team registration, Field Set-up Kit and possibly your robot kit - also has this year's Event registration page. To register for an Event, like a tournament or booster, you will need to "apply to an event group", like the "Colorado Qualifier Tournaments" or the "Colorado Rookie Boosters"
To Register for a tournament,
All teams must register their 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice events via the US FIRST site. This is necessary to balance event attendance for the ~200 teams in Colorado.

(If you manage multiple teams you will need to select your team, then fill in the choices)
Select your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices (must be different) and click on Proceed.
You will receive confirmation message confirming your selections. The Tournament Planning committee will assign teams to events in early October, you will get you event assignment at that time.

Payment will be routed to the event you attend if you are not assigned to your first choice. Please send check to address below. Team number MUST be on check!

More detailed instructions if above does not work.
If the above link above did not get you where you need to be registration may still be disabled OR you may need to follow the instructions below or in the attachment linked at the bottom of this page.
Log in to gofll.usfirst.org using your coach's ID.
Select the "Events" tab in the dark blue menu bar. The map and the listing, both showing only 4 events, followed by event groups for the entire North American FLL. The event list is incorrect! We have seven qualifiers this fall, so keep seeking the correct list.
Set the Region criteria field to "Colorado", then click "Search Events". This will likely show the same 4 events on the list, but most importantly, after the event list, is a list of Colorado Event Groups. Notice on the right side of the group list are the names of all the Colorado events.
Click the name of the Event Group you are interested in, Colorado Qualifier Tournaments, for example. You'll be presented with a complete list of the events in this group.
Click the big green button to "Apply for this Event Group". DO NOT attempt to click on an event and apply directly for that event. It won't work. Colorado Events are only available through event groups.
Set your preferred events - 1st 2nd and 3rd. The Touranament Planning Committee will assign your event. Be sure to provide the best inforamtion you can for all three preferences.
You should get a confirmation message that you've applied for the event
Check the Event Registration Guide at the bottom of the page for additional help on using it.
Other Resources
There are a great number of Challenge Resources available to you through the US FIRST site, including mission details and the ever-evolving Q & A. You can find this at the US FIRST FLL
(www.USFIRST.org > Robotics Programs > FLL).
Colorado FIRST
This new site is built so that your teams can interract with these resouces. If you find cool web based research content, share it here with the the Colorado league.
The Colorado FIRST site will probably carry the same ID and e-mail that your account with US FIRST carries - we manually update the Colorado FIRST site with the US FIRST team registration every few days. There is no systematic interface between the two sites at this time.
This is how the planning committee will communitcate with you, the coaches, teams & volunteers. We will generate news pages for the user group you are a part of - Team Coaches and Mentors, Volunteers, Officials, etc. The updates will come to you by e-mail, or if you elect, RSS feed. Of course, you may also log on to the site to check for updates.
If you receive an e-mail, the subject may say something like, "Colorado FIRST has sent you an update". In the body of the message, you'll find a link to the new article. If you click the link, you'll be presented with the Colorado FIRST web page, and quite possible the message, "Access Denied". This is because you may need to log in to the Colorado FIRST site before the system will present some pages. Some pages are publicly visible, but some will require a log in.
Jr First Lego League
I probably missed something some where but is there going to be a Jr First Lego competation?
