Colorado FLL 2010 Tournament Information

Details:

  • Teams should complete the pre-tournament registration form, linked from here.  Tournament assignments will be released October 4, 2010.
  • Tournament fees are $75 per team.  Teams must register with US FIRST (http://gofll.usfirst.org) and obtain an official team number to be able to complete the tournament registration.
  • Tournament registration will be through the ColoradoFIRST shopping cart.
  • Tournament registration fees are non-refundable.
  • Release forms - one required from EACH team member, for EACH event they attend, please.

The Colorado FLL Tournament Planning Committee (TPC) will assign your team's Qualifier location.  Tournament registration will provide ample opportunity to request 1st and 2nd choice tournament placement.  We'll attempt to accomodate your requests as best as we can, but tournament balancing will assure you the best competition environment possible.

Attending more than one Qualifier?

Some teams may want the added experience of more than one qualifier event.  If that team is yours, please remember:

  • Your team can only win an award at the FIRST qualifier they attend.
  • Only the FIRST you attend can qualify your team for advancement to Championship.
  • Qualifier Director may decline your registration if another team needs the same position at the tournament for their FIRST qualifier.

24% of the teams from any qualifier WILL ADVANCE to Championship so you can be comfortable that your opportunities of advancement will not be altered by the qualifier you choose.  TDS Robotics Expo is NOT a qualifying tournament.
