Colorado FIRST LEGO League Qualifier event at Preston Middle School. The 2011 Preston Qualifier (PQ) will be hosted at Preston Middle School which is located is at 4901 Corbett Drive, Fort Collins, CO 80528. This tournament will be a 24 team event.
Preston Middle School, a neighborhood school of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, is commited to furthering STEM education at the middle level (grades 6-8). Our enrollment for 2011-2012 is about 900 students. Preston is fortunate to host the Northern Colorado Science Olympiad Tournament as well as many other formal and informal events that encourage rigorous academics, mentorships, real-world research and service, and challenging extracurricular activities and enrichments, For the past 3 years, Preston has hosted the STEM Institutes (check back often as we are gearing up for the 2012 STEM Institute) and this year, the program hosted 407 young men and women from 24 different schools in Colorado, Wyoming and Texas.
