The Rookie Booster is
The Rookie Booster is intended for the team members, coaches, and family members. It is a great opportunity to get a feeling for the experience of a tournament without actually competing. There are workshops that will help you with robot design and building, teamwork, research project, and what to expect in the qualifying tournaments.

Do we pack in lunch? Do we have to pay admission to the Science Museum to get in? I've already registered the team and paid the $25 fee. Thanks!

Lunch is not provided, but is available for purchase in the museum cafeteria. You may also bring your own sack lunch and snacks. Please eat in the cafeteria seating area or outside, not in the museum, workshops or at the pit tables. You do not need to pay admission to the museum. Team kids, coaches, parents and siblings are covered by the generosity of the Denver Museum of Nature and Science hosting Colorado FIRST Lego League.
Thank you! OK one more
Thank you! OK one more question since you mentioned that admission is covered. Will the siblings, parents who may not be interested in the Rookie booster the whole time be able to wander around the museum or are we all supposed to stay in a certain area? Also, after the booster is over, can we wander freely?
Registered teams (kids and
Registered teams (kids and coaches) as well as their parents and siblings will receive free admission to the DMNS upon team check-in. There are no restrictions on the hours they can visit the museum on October 16. They may stay until DMNS closes. Once inside the museum, parents and siblings may visit the exhibits while the kids and coaches are in workshops. This is actually encouraged, as our workshop seating may be limited during sessions with larger teams. Family members will not receive a nametag or badge, so if they leave the museum area for lunch or to go outside, they should take a team member with them in order to get back through the museum entry.
