Display your NXT screen on your PC!
From the great state of Louisiana, Scot Marshall recently shared this handy tip:
Here is a great teaching tool I just discovered. You can project the NXT display live through the computer onto the wall or other means.
When you click the buttons on the PC image of the NXT, it clicks them on the NXT and you get to see the display change. Changing it on the robot also changes it on the PC Display.
It allows live demonstrations that are clear, and exact while everyone else can follow! Up until now you could only demo for the few that could get a view. You can Save or Copy images and paste them into Word or PowerPoint!
Once you have the application downloaded, double-click on it to run. Once you see the image of the NXT, right-click on the image of the NXT and select :
• Polling (should show as checked) If you don’t, the display won’t update
• Select Refresh Rate 100ms
• Select Scale 4x
• Select Display Normal
• Select Play Clicks
I will be using it this coming weekend at the training hosted by ITT Institute in St. Rose by New Orleans International/Moisant/Armstrong International airport just off of Airline Highway in St. Rose, west of the airport a few miles.

This is a *.zip file with an executable in it that most spam filters will delete, so you will have to download your own. (You can download this utility by clicking here)
I got it to work using bluetooth and USB under a 64-bit Windows 7.
