Team Volunteer Requirement

Coaches!  Remember, these tournaments need people!  

Colorado FIRST requires every team to enlist two volunteers to work at tournament events during the season.  There will be 8 events this year, including the Booster and the Championship.  Every event needs two volunteers for each team attending. 

There are several ways to fulfill this need for your requirement.  The most fun is to recruit a neighbor or colleague to come with you to an event.  You can share the fun of judging, refereeing or volunteering as a queuer etc with a friend.  One big advantage for you as a coach is that you learn a new appreciation for the tournament experience.

Don't trip yourself up though!!  DO NOT volunteer for the same event  your team is competing in!  You want to be able to work work with your team on their competition day!  You don't want to have to work somewhere else.  Additionally, the tournament you are working at needs you there for your contribution to the production of the event, without the distraction of managing your team.

Event registration approval requires the teams to register their volunteers.
