This means that the state Champion's award winner will receive an invitation to the World Festival in April 25 – 28, 2012 in St. Louis, Missouri. If the Champion's award winner is unable to attend than the invitation would be available to the 2nd place Champion's. Some years also include a US Open event open to state Champions and runner ups. Any of these festivals included a $700 to $1,000 registration fee, plus transportation, food and lodging expenses while there.</p> <p> </p>
